So I'm totally new to couponing in general and it seems like every week for the past 2 months or so, I've hit some kind of new "milestone." Figuring out what at first seemed like the most confusing systems ever-CVS Extra Bucks and Walgreen's Register Rewards. Now, today was my first time for this big sale at Kroger that everyone seemed pretty excited about all week. Now, I can see why....I've made two trips to the Kroger right by my house and if this rain will let up just a bit I'm going to head out to another Kroger (I think mine hates me now. lol. I've had more than a few issues lately with 2 cashiers and 1 manager) with my cousin and show her how it's done. I need to get motivated/better organized so I can show pics or at least type out the deals I've done so far. Maybe tonight before bed. I used to get so excited just to watch my total drop as the coupons were scanned, but now I love to see the "percent saved" which is printed on the Kroger receipts...today's said 97% and as dorky as it may sound, I was really proud of myself!
97% savings IS something to be super excited about, great deal!
